Mr. Eliphus Pule Kotsokoane
“A child who is known is a child who learns. We start there, every term.”
Our teachers grew up in this district. Most studied at UNISA, North-West University or Tshwane University of Technology, came home, and stayed. Below are five of the colleagues who set the tone of the staff room and the corridor.
A complete list of our 17 educators is on the staff noticeboard at the front office. Below are five whose work shapes much of what a Marang week looks like — in the choir room, in the maths corridor, in the Grade 3 carpet circle.

“A child who is known is a child who learns. We start there, every term.”

“Most of my learners arrive afraid of maths. By June we just call it Tuesday.”

“Grade 3 is the most underrated year of school. Everything later balances on this floor.”

“The choir is where the shy children find their voice. Sometimes literally.”

“A child who reads ten minutes a day in Grade 4 reads books in Grade 7. We are very simple about that.”
Our remaining twelve educators cover Grades R, 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6, plus Setswana Home Language, Social Sciences and Technology. The full list, with photographs and contact emails, is on the noticeboard at the front office.
